Epos Care was founded in 2020 and provide care and support within our supported living homes for adults with mental health conditions and/or learning disabilities.

 

We aim to Enable our service users to reach their full Potential by building/developing everyday life skills to maximise each person’s independence with everyday tasks and keeping safe within the community.

 

Our service users will be given the Opportunity to live a fulfilled life as possible, accessing leisure activities, educational courses and voluntary work experience. All of these aims will be made possible by our high quality person centered support we provide to each and every service user.


Aims And Objectives


The aims of EPOS are:

  • Enable our service users to live as independently as they are able.
  • To help residents to reach their Potential by integrating into the community as far as possible and accessing leisure and work opportunities.
  • To enable residents to have as rich a quality of life as is achievable, ensuring they are given the every Opportunity to maximise this
  • To enable residents to maintain their integrity as individuals in their own right.
  • To Support residents to develop within everyday life skills and to keep themselves safe in the community
  • To give residents access to their own culture.
  • To promote choice and empower individuals to take control of their own lives
  • To provide a safe environment  and supportive environment

EPOS deliver the above aims and objectives in a respectful, non-judgemental and professional manner with an ethos of support and empowerment at the forefront, to encourage all of our service users to become a well-balanced, positive and production member of the community.

 

About Us


Managing Director Eamonn O’Sullivan has 13 years experience within social care sector particularly within services that support individuals with mental health conditions and learning disability.


Starting off as a support worker in 2007 Eamonn has worked within all capacities such as shift leader, deputy manager, Registered manager and most recently a senior manager within a highly established service.  


Alongside Eamonn’s vast experience he has also achieved his level 3 and 5 health and social care diploma and has now has his level 7 NVQ diploma in strategic management and leadership.


Over the years Eamonn has achieved OUTSTANDING cqc reports and has evidenced a clear understanding of providing high quality, safe, person centered care and support.

 

Transforming Care


Transforming care is a government agenda which is  all about improving health and care services so that more people can live in the community, with the right support, and close to home.


EPOS Care are in full support of this national plan and hope to work closely with local councils to make sure individuals are receiving bespoke care/support within their own home and not hospitals.
